- Storage Access: required to open, save, and organize PDF documents on your device;
- MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: required to open, save, and organize PDF documents on above 13 Android versions that require this range;
- Notifications: used to display document updates or important reminders (optional, can be disabled).
5. External Services
PDF Mate integrates third-party SDKs that operate under their own privacy terms:

6. Data Retention & Location
Information is retained only for the time needed to achieve the purposes stated above. Device and usage data are typically kept for up to 90 days, while support messages are stored as long as required for resolution and compliance. All document content stays on your device unless you explicitly share it.
